New years resolution – to liberate my photographs from the hard drive, edit, play, experiment and create new collections!
Firstly one of my favourite subject to photograph – Gas tanks I have been many many times to photograph these two lovely’s by the canal at London Fields, I just love the silhouettes.
Playing with silhouette, texture and colours.
Here is a sneak peak at the new Urban Textures Collection I am working on. I must admit to having a bit of an obsession for photographing old structures, facades, roofs, scaffolding basically anything that creates a interesting patterns, shadows and textures in the urban environment. Any guesses where this, soon to be demolished, London Roof Structure is?
Also would love to know what you think. Please comment and share if you have a moment

Ok I have set myself the challenge of editing some of the hundreds and hundreds of photographs that are languishing in the brains of my laptop. I think some of them deserve better.
So this first collection ‘SIGNAGE’ indulges my little obsession with all things signage, the older and shabbier the better!. This section is from San Francisco and a little bit of California sunshine certainly helps. All images have had some layers and filters added to give bit more depth of colour and texture.

I was very lucky this summer to be commissioned by a private client to create some bespoke artwork for The Island Newquay. If you don’t know it its a wonderful seaside town in Cornwall and the site was the iconic Island with its dramatic suspension bridge to a private island retreat.
I flew down and spent a couple of days photographing the site before heading back to the studio to create the bespoke artwork. Although I normally photograph architecture and cityscapes this was a great opportunity to translate my technique to a new subject matter.
I was exceptionally lucky with the weather which is a bit of a must to get the best shots, crisp shadows and a sharp silhouette of the subject. Here are some images of the process from photoshoot to finished artwork. The prints are now happily installed in the clients house which by the way is available for rent through http://www.uniquehomestays.com
